Michles & Booth is Dedicated to Giving Back

Manna Food Bank

Manna is a local grassroots organization that fights hunger in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties. Through strategic partnerships and innovative programs, Manna fills a number of gaps in service to children and the elderly in these areas.

At Michles & Booth, we believe every person has a right to live free of hunger and to be treated with respect and dignity. We are proud to support Manna and its efforts to provide for those in immediate need.

Manna provides groceries directly to individuals and families in need. Their services are all offered free of charge. They receive no government funding and have no national affiliation. Most of their funding comes from individuals, foundations, faith-based organizations, corporations, and businesses. Manna is nonsectarian, community focused, and volunteer supported.

Senior hunger is a nationwide problem and is prevalent in our area. Every month thousands of senior citizens choose to pay bills, buy medication, or buy food. At the same time, many of the thousands of children in our area who receive free or reduced meals at school have no access to food on the weekends. A hungry child cannot learn and grow.

Manna provides a number of programs and services addressing these specific issues as well as the hunger challenges facing more families in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties than ever. To learn more, including how you can support Manna, visit their website: www.mannahelps.org.
