Of all the places you expect to see an attorney working, I’m willing to bet the flea market is not one of them. However, if you come to the T&W Flea Market the first Saturday of any month, that’s where you’ll find me.
Since January 2013, just a few short months after I joined Michles & Booth, I’ve been holding a free legal clinic at the T&W Flea Market on Highway 98 between Navarre and Gulf Breeze and answering any legal questions thrown my way.
Rather than working behind my desk on Saturdays, the flea market gives me the opportunity to get out into the community. While my practice focus is on Social Security Disability and workers’ compensation, I have answered a range of questions from incorporating businesses to landlord disputes. In my nearly two years of working the flea market, I can tell you it is one of the great joys of my job, despite what some may think.
The opportunity to interact with the hard-working people who make up the backbone of this great hard-working town is a true blessing. While I have raised a few suspicious eyebrows, I’ve also been able to help hundreds of people with simple legal advice. The opportunity brightens their day and mine, and I am truly grateful for the opportunity.
So if you ever have any questions about Social Security disability or workers compensation (or any other quick legal issues), do not hesitate to find me at the T&W Flea Market the first Saturday of every month, or you can call me 24 hours a day, seven days a week at 850-438-4848.
